HTML5 Section Elements

Couple of questions about labeling Section Elements:

  1. If I label a HTML item as “Address” then an email address in that box seems to automatically italicized. Anyway around that?

  2. If a Master item is labeled as a Section Element then any instance of that element is similarly labeled. But if the Master relationship is broken, e.g. by adding padding to an item, I believe the instance loses Element status. Surely it would be better if it retained it?

I think you mean if you change the item type from “html item" to the html5
“address" element. HTML5 elements are semantic structures and the address
element should be used to identify specific content. Most browsers display
address contents with italics, you can override this by creating a CSS
style targeted specifically to the html address tag.

I’ve never had that happen to me in Freeway Pro, and I use html5 section
elements all the time. Like, everyday. Altering the child of a master item
will not change the type of item it is, only changing the item type will
change the item type. Sounds like maybe you need some sleep
