I can't make this work

There is a tutorial in “using freeway” film no. three where a gallery page is constructed using target images and rollovers. I must say it looks easy when you see it but I can’t get it to work no matter what I do. The thumbs won’t roll over the target images won’t appear nothing works. Believe me I have tried and tried. Is there a simple example that I can work with and succeed at so I can somehow use this nice function. I just don’t get it.

Is the CSS Layout button enabled in the toolbar? If it is it will say
CSS Layout below it, if it isn’t it will say Table Layout (and be
light gray).

If it is enabled then all your items will be layers, the tutorial
assumes that they are not, this doesn’t necessarily mean you need to
make them all layers though. Instead select all the items in the stack
(the large items) and group them (Item>Group), then apply the Target
image to the top item in the stack. You should now see a list of all
the grouped items in the Target Image Action palette.

Do the same for each of the Rollovers if you want their appearance to
change when rolled over, if not then they should work as they are (as
layers).

If that’s not the problem then could you provide a bit more
information as to what’s happening.

Hope this helps,

Joe
