I always use iView - Media Pro, now unfortunately taken over by the MS
hegemony as MS Expressions Media. This enables uploading of Images directly
from the camera, if needed, full professional archiving of all Images, full
maintenance of all Meta Data & EXIF Data, full Image Identification and Key
Wording, and Captioning of Images. A linked Thumbnail Catalogue can be
produced for every Folder, from which a local Slideshow can be shown. A
single click will perform Batch renaming - A N D - a single click will
produce a ready to upload HTML folder of any given Slideshow, created from
many different Templates. Limited Image Editing is also included, but for
anything other than quick reference I would always stay with PhotoShop.
Have a look here for a “virtual” Dog Show which I recently created in
Freeway, with well over 700 Captioned Images being displayed in 15 separate
iView Media Pro Slideshows, all of the Slideshows being forward and back
navigable, and displayed in New Windows with the Freeway 4.0 “Spawn New
Window” Action http://www.weimaraner.tv/vds_08/index.html

I building a site for a friends new model agency, and thinking about ways in
which to present/layout each models portfolio.
Each model will have 10-12 thumbnail images, and a main viewable vindow.
It can be basic or complex, however ultimately it needs to look the nut’s, be
user friendly - people don’t want to be messing around for ages etc, they just
want to see the models - pics!
I have a few ideas, but just wondering if anyone can suggest and post up some
links/sites to gallerys and the like that they rate!
When I’m getting somewhere I will post the site to see what you all think!
