IE cannot open site... operation aborted

Help!

My redesigned site looks spectacular on a mac. I’m getting this wierd message (in the subject line) on a pc running IE. Also, the user cannot see CSS menus. I’m trying to track down the source right now. It sucks because I just gave my address to a bunch of prospects.

If anyone has a pc handy, would they check my site please? I think I tracked it down to a conflict with CSS menus and mootools. Not sure, but that’s what I suspect. I changed the menu to a simple HTML format, and the screenshots from NetRenderer seem to be ok in IE 6 and 7.

Not sure if it’s still bombing pages or not.

FYI… prior to changing the menus, the CSS menu window said stuff like this:

#fwNav1{float:left; margin:0; padding:0 etc. (four lines of this kind of thing)

If anyone’s interested, the problem turned out to be one of several things.

As I mentioned, I deleted the CSS menus site wide.
In addition, there were three instances of the mp3 quicktime action. And also three mpeg4 videos. Somewhere lived the conflict.

I deleted the mp3 files and reimported the video as flash video with Vertical Moon’s video2swf program. I’m writing this from the public library with IE6. All is right (I think), and I have most of the functionality I was going for.

Andrew.
