Image Batch Edit?

Hi everyone,

I am noticing something that is taking up a lot of my time and I wonder if there is an easier way.

I have 9 graphic images on a page; they are all imported from photoshop and then converted to png.

To update the images on the next page, I am copying those 9 images and pasting into a new page. They are still pngs at this point and we’re all good. The problem comes when I drag the new .psd image onto the old – freeway always changes the image type to jpeg. This looks horrible in the browser, so I manually change each one of these back to png. I have over 900 of these to do, so that is a lot of extra clicking and editing!

Is there a way to either – force freeway to hold onto the png setting and not revert to jpeg or, select all the images at once and make the change once instead of each image individually?

Thanks!
Doty

Why don’t you batch convert them in Photoshop to PNG first? Try creating a recorded action and then through that action only save them as PNG and then when that is done just reimport them into Freeway and they should hold the PNG format. That’s what I do, with massive amounts of image files, is convert them to one single format by doing to ‘File > Automate >Batch’.
