Image reflection in EE

@atelier

Hans, I noticed your posting at the EE forum about using PHP reflection and images. Have you solved it?

I’m struggling with the same issue were I’d like to combine the reflection PHP with the image resizer plugin. I Installed reflection PHP in the root but apparantly it is having trouble finding the sized image.

Hi

You mean this thread? Forums | ExpressionEngine
No, I left it there (too many other projects) There is a plug-in extract URL (from Chris Ruzin) which I use sometimes but I seem to remember that it did not do the trick. Must look at it again…thanks for remembering me…:~)

Could you have used the {filename} tag to return just the filename of the jpg or have I misread what you needed?

Hi Adam

No, that code should be read as img=some_image.jpg etc etc meaning the image with name some_image and extention .jpg
But, as I mentioned above, it’s a while ago.

I do recall my problem though. What I wanted was an automatic use of image reflections ( http://reflection.corephp.co.uk/ ).

Example: a user uploads an image to a file dir. and places the url to the img in a field. The image reflections script is attached to that field, so EE outputs the image, and the reflection in the template. For some reason I did not get it to work. RobP also did not, as I understood.

I’ll look at it again.
