Including images/creating rollovers with Scripty Accordion

Hi there,

Could anyone advise how I can include images in the Scripty Accordion Action with a view to creating rollovers for different titles in a navigation bar?

Relative newb to web design - any instructions please break down step by step and very simply.

Many thanks,

M McKenzie

I just tried this very quickly, and it doesn’t work to use the IMG tag as the header and also apply the Rollover Action to those images. If you’re trying to put the images in the show/hide element, that works just fine as long as you make those images inline within whatever container tag (probably P) that you are using for your show/hide elements.

Hi Walter thanks for the reply,

When I was looking through previous threads I came across a contribution by Nathan Garner who’s company website http://www.rla.co.uk/ is close to the effect I was trying to achieve with regards the navigation bar on the home page.

Can anyone help with step by step/easy to follow instructions on how this effect can be achieved.

Many thanks,

M McKenzie

Hi M

We did the www.rla.co.uk website with Drupal (http://drupal.org/) as we have had about 3 or 4 contributors from our offices both here and in Ireland on the site - so this wasn’t done within Freeway.

However, I have done an accordion menu a while ago on another site: http://www.tods.co.uk/aerospace/cabin-roofing.html

I currently have them all open at the same time rather than closing when another is opened. Is that the sort of thing?

Hi Nathan,

Thanks for the prompt reply. It is something like the website you outline but I was hoping to create rollover effects on the titles ‘Structures’, ‘Interiors’ for instance and possibly on the sub-titles that come into view.

Do you know of any way this or the rla navigation bar could be created in Freeway?

It’s maybe not possible but any thoughts keep me posted.

Cheers

Martin

Those are just HTML text rollovers, with some padding and background color added with CSS. No need to use images.
