I want to leave AW because new OS version Lion does not support it.
I try to convert all my AW files in Bento, Pages, Numbers, Intaglio files.
The problem detailed here comes from AW textual files containing vector drawibgs.
Now, I know how to integrate these drawongs into a purely textual Pages document ; the remaining problem is that I should like to avoid the use of an Intaglio file to store all the vector drawings with AW it was possible, if I wanted to modify a drawong I could do it by using a temporary vector AW file which allowed me to modify this drawong.

For what it’s worth, I write in LaTeX and “include” cropped pdf’s of
Intaglio drawings of which I keep, “just in case”, a SVG copy created
and automatically filed by Intaglio and which, in fact, I could embed
as text straight into LaTeX so as to have a single file.
