Internet Explorer Problems and Solutions

I have produced a couple of completed sites in Freeway now and I really enjoy using it.Just about all of my various experimental designs, as well as my finished ones, work really well on all browsers except IE which frequently turns too many of my design elements to mush, with HTML in particular at the top of my list.
I have lately come to realize that the biggest challenge of all, when using Freeway, is designing for IE which causes just about all of my headaches and takes up twice as much of my design time to resolve.Needless to say I detest that “flaming browser” but I also realize that for obvious reasons I cannot just ignore it and pretend it doesn’t exist, although I would very much like to.
I feel sure that just about everyone with limited experience that uses Freeway, or any other program for that matter, must hate dealing with IE too.Therefor,I would like to suggest either a specific section in the forum that deals with nothing but IE problems, or a complete IE tutorial covering all the many bugs and quirks in IE with all their possible solutions.
I would love to have a single point of reference when I come up against what must be very common and very frustrating IE problems.

How about it…anyone brave enough to tackle this maloderous task and spare so many of us sleepless nights…?

Forever hopeful…

Freeway has an IE compatibility setting, not sure if it’s on my default, but if it’s ok, Freeway usually does a very good job. It’s been my experience that when things go wrong, it can be traced to an action or a bit of hand code in a markup item somewhere.
