"Invalid format" error

Doing some updates to my existing site in 7.0.1. Added a new page and formatted it as always, but now I’m getting this error:

Could not open TIFF file because the file has an invalid format.
(-26003:308:277)

No idea what’s causing this, but I get it on every page when I try to preview in a browser.

Can anyone guide me?

Try opening the TIFF in an external editor, like Photoshop or other, and
see if the TIFF is damaged or is not in normal 8-bit RGB format.

Tiff is not a file type that is supported across the board by browsers. Not surprised you are getting errors.

Why not use a jpeg?

I appreciate the resposes, but you’re answering a problem I did not post.

Freeway supports tiffs, as you know. I’m getting the error in Freeway, not a browser. I’m trying to preview in a browser, at which point Freeway is supposed to optimize my tiffs and make them jpegs, something it’s done for this site since Freeway V3.

Now, with Freeway 7, I’m getting this error (haven’t had it before), on every page I try to preview.

The local TIFF file that you imported into Freeway could have become
corrupted… Occam’s Razor. But if you think that it’s a Freeway 7 problem,
then you should contact the manufacturer directly.

I am sorry if I didn’t understand that the error was from Freeway.

Do you want to share the TIFF and others could try with it.
