Hello… I am using the “iOS Homescreen Icon” action to bring in favorites icon. All works great on an iOS device but my desktop browser (safari) does not display this icon only a faint color from the sight with a compass. Sites I have built in the past are displaying the iOS icon in the desktop browsers favorite.
Is this the same icon that safari desktop browser will use in favorites?
If not what is the proper method to include an icon so it will show up in the browsers favorites?
Also do other browsers on other platforms use this or another icon method in their favorite section?
OK… It would appear that if one wants to enhance the user experience on a wide range of devices and platforms, long gone are the days of a single favicon and perhaps a cool iOS icon. There is now a need for iOS home screen icons, iOS book mark icons, OS bookmark dropdown menu icons, the good old favicon, and all this for other mobile and desktop platforms and devices
Here is a resource I found that seems to do the trick, and quite nicely I might add. Remember to contribute to the developer if you find this as helpful as I have.
For some reason here at my studio it is only my work station that is still having the issue. I have tried restarting clearing cache and such. Perhaps it has to do with resolution. My workstation uses a Thunderbolt Display. Any thoughts?

Hi Todd… Thanks for sharing. Your link appears to be a really slick icon graphics tool.
The resource I provided is focused more on prepping an existing graphic and providing all the necessary sizes along with all the code used to make them available on different devices.
First I hope you all find the resource as helpful as I have.
As for the issue at my workstation, it appears something was cached and needed to clear out in order for all the new and wonderful Favicon’s to start displaying.
