I made my first 75 iphone sites for a company. No I
have a question regarding iPads:
If I turn the baking tray the page does not reload
proper. And the look (size) is not the same on all
browsers. (Atomic, Safari).
What are the best settings high, wide – and should
the page be centered or on none? If its on none, the
page is on ipads/safari attached on the left side.
I think so, but there aren’t any Actions for this. I believe that the
iPhone Actions use the browser signature to do this redirection, but
I’m not sure if they simply detect MobileSafari or if they also check
the viewport width as well.

One more question: is it possible to lead an ipad to its own webpage
(not the same like iphone is using … )
You might want to adjust the maximum-scale limit in the iPhone
controls so it’s higher that 1.6. I think that might be limiting the
amount that the page can scale up to fill the iPad browser. But I also
suspect that the iPad version of Safari is much more similar to the
desktop version in some respects, so you may want to limit the iPhone
version of your site strictly to the iPhone itself, and serve your
normal site to the iPad. At 1024 x 768, it’s much more likely to fit a
desktop-sized site than not.
I would like to piggy back on this, as it relates somewhat. I have a page with a longer text window than the ipad page view, and the pad does not allow scrolling it, is there a way around that?
Might as well squeeze this in also: Having not found anything about other mobile device pages that I could work with (i.e. at my level of understanding) I resorted to a button visible aprox. where the page would open on said. It kind of works but I wish there was an action that would redirect all mobile devices to the iPhone pages.
I know this site needs a lot of work, it is a rebuild to functional before a complete re-write. Does anyone have a favorite site in this type of industry that I might look at?
Thanks!

Agreed - I dont think that you really need to serve up a different site for iPad - apart from the obvious Flash issues.
