Is it possible to have an integrated blog on fw?

I just started looking at FW and wanted to know if it has the capability of including a blog within the site, much like iWeb, RapidWeaver and Sandvox?
My searches in the forum suggest that you have a create a blog outside of the website using Google et al., and that there is no way to build a blog page within the FW built site.
Is that a correct assumption?

I believe this may be one of the new features in Freeway 5.

Not in the sense of working directly with a server-based database,
which is part of what makes a blog be a true blog rather than just
blog-like static web pages.

Freeway 5 will make it easy to create Blogger 2.0 templates, which is
a very cool thing indeed. It is also simple to use Freeway as your
interface for adding content to a site over and over, making a static
blog-like site. But that ain’t what serious bloggers would consider
to be a real blog… and nor is iWeb’s blog feature, slick though it
is.

Actually making a real blog requires proper online database
support, which is a major can o’ worms. The Blogger template building
aspect is a good way to go - and I hope we’ll eventually see the same
thing for Wordpress as well.

If you want a blog, do it for real with Blogger, Wordpress or similar things.

There’s also one on a more advanced tutorial under “Your second blogger template…”
