Hi Tom,
Take a look at this page on extensibility in HTML5;
http://diveintohtml5.info/extensibility.html
Essentially attributes like itemscope and itemprop allow you to markup sections of your HTML 5 web page so that search engines and sites like Facebook can break the page down into a semantic structure. One example in the link above shows a section on the page that holds user information. With the attributes in place other sites should be know that the information relates to a person which, in turn, will help in delivering meaningful search results.
Regards,
Tim.

Thank you Tim!
So far it is clear, for what reason one can use micro data, although I could not find out how to set them in FWP. The “how to” is obvious, I know, but I dont see it at the moment. :o).

Hi Tom,
Until Freeway ships with HTML 5 support adding these attributes isn’t really going to do much for your pages. If you can’t wait and want to add these attributes along with the HTML5 Page Action (http://actionsforge.com/actions/view/262-html5-page) then I think a custom Action would be the best way to go.
Regards,
Tim.
