It's Here – Backdraft 2.0: The responsive framework to super-charge Freeway 7!

Caleb, How about an existing website (in my footer). I have about 320 pages, all in Freeway 6 Pro.

Is there a tutorial(s) or manual(s) that would help a low-tech, age 71 guy (me) to use Backdraft 2.0 and Fwy 7 Pro to change an entire website into the new responsive design? I’m thoroughly intimidated by the thought and hardly know where to start.

Jim,

Really great question, but I’m afraid I don’t have a really great answer! Sadly, there is no way to retrofit Backdraft into a preexisting website. You’d have to build it all over again starting with Backdraft. This is because Backdraft is a template, not an action. The “magic” is in the modules that I’ve built, so if your website isn’t constructed with the modules from the get-go, Backdraft won’t be of any benefit to you. :frowning:

However, you should be able to upgrade to FW 7 just fine.

Hi,

This site was built using Backdraft 2.0 and Freeway Pro 7.

http://www.incrediblekitchensplett.co.za/

There is a gap, which I cannot seem to remove which sits above and below the main hero image on all pages. I have removed the padding and margin from both the images and the items above and below then, yet the space remain.

Any ideas as to how this could be removed.

Thanks.

Wrap the image within a full-width-DIV and set its orientation to top in inspector. You simply placed it and it’s hereby wrapped in a p-Tag (Freeway’s standard behavior).
