There are so many extreme helpful members here at FWT and I feel I must say “something” to Dave, Walt, Joe, Tim, Steward and all the others here and backstage at Softpress.
You guys answering, without using any harsh words, 3 or 4 times the same (sometime stupid) questions when we all sweep the lanes on the Internet, searching for help. (Was that correct in english :O)) )
Sure, that’s what the board is here for. Lots of great people on here both now and before. Tons of time has been dedicated to figuring out the littlest details no matter how frustrating the situation may seem.
I totally agree. Amazing patience and dedication to answering questions until they are fully understood. Especially in the middle of the night when you just can’t call someone at 2am and you need an answer really quick. THANK YOU
Glad I read this. May I also be permitted to say that I also appreciate the time that Dave and Waltd have taken to reply to somebody who has not even purchased the product yet. (Though i am going to get pro when santa arrives). No the point is very simple; forums are notorious for being a detached environment where unfortunately you never get to meet the people typing on the keyboard. the fact that people have replied, and persevere with someone such as me is something that does not escape my sense of respect and thankfulness. Mainly because they have no obligation to waste time with what may be such irritatingly basic questions from an unknown person.
When I was first introduced into the Freeway community, pretty much
around the same time that Freeway was introduced to the world, I had
way way way more questions than answers. I struggled forward, mostly
standing on the shoulders of giants, and gathered the information I
have to date by asking and being answered. I could not do less than
answer someone else’s question today. As for being civil with
newcomers, life is short and being rude wastes everyone’s time and
makes them feel bad. Even if it makes you feel superior for a moment,
that’s really just a bit of acid dripping into your soul. Who has time
for that?
