There’s the PowerMac G5 with PowerPC G5 processing power, and then
there’s a Mac Pro that looks very similar but uses Intel processing
power. They both look like giant cheese graters.

If it’s an Intel, then it could be a big shiny tower, an all-in-one, a
mini or a laptop.
If it’s Powermac G5, then it could be a a shiny metal tower
(indistinguishable from an Intel tower), an all-in-one, or a mini.
The easiest way to sort this is to pull down the Apple menu to About
this Mac. The Processor line below the Software Update button will
tell you precisely which animal you have.
