Larger Text

Hi,
I’m using Freeway 4 Express, is there a way to have an option on the page that will allow the viewer to increase the size of the text without loading the whole page again?
Thanks.

I may be going out on a limb here, but I’d suggest that, as all
browsers enable any viewer to increase the text size anyway, it might
be easier if you didn’t bother?

best wishes

Hi Fergus

Is the text on the page HTML and not a graphic?

If so Paul is right and the majority of browsers will bump the text content. Try it in Safari (apple +) with this page.

On the other hand you may have seen a + sign or a range of letters that invite users to view larger text. An example is the RNIB web site: (to the right on the main navigtion bar)

http://www.rnib.org.uk/xpedio/groups/public/documents/code/InternetHome.hcsp

I’ve never done this myself, but assume they have created style sheets for each text size.

Seems damn convoluted to me, and would suggest at least two cups of tea and a nice long walk before going down this road.

Hope this helps
Kind regards

Thanks,
I didn’t know about that fact that browsers can already do this. I wasn’t needing it in particular - more I was just wondering whether it is possible. Thanks for all the help (but I do think it’s best just to leave the text size increasing job to the browsers!)
