Leading / letter line spacing...

I don’t get it. I set the leading at 120 to give breathing room but when uploaded it goes back to 100.

Help?

If you’ve set the font size in pixels, it’s best to set the leading in pixels as well: this gives more control and better consistency with different browsers.

If you mean turn my type into a graphic element (ie: jpg…) I’d rather keep type as html.

I’ll look into what you mention though…

Thanks

A good response (for accessibility and search engine performance
avoid graphic text except for headlines and merging with images), but
that’s not what he meant.

Edit the HTML type style and change the leading from 120% to whatever
120% of your current type pixel size is. If your text is 10px, set
the leading to 12px. If it is 12px, set it to… umm… 15px is close
enough. Don’t bother with decimal places, just round it to the
nearest pixel.
