ScriptyLightbox can do this quite simply. Make each of your popups as
a separate page, apply the PHP Make Insert Page Action to those
separate pages, and to make the links work as a lightbox, just put
them in an HTML box to which you have applied the ScriptyLightbox
Action. Any link within that Action-ed HTML box will be opened in the
lightbox. If you want a mix of in and out-of-lightbox links, then the
long-hand way to do it is to make your link to the separate page in
the usual way, then with that link still highlighted, open the
Hyperlink dialog, press the Extended button, click New, and enter the
following name/value pair:

  • Name: class
  • Value: lightwindow

With the link thus extended, you will see that link open the page in
the lightbox.

One thing to note – for the best graphic effect, you must set your
document to use External Stylesheets in the Document Setup dialog.

Actually tried it with the value pairs but that will just open up a new window but not a light box, am I missing something?

If you haven’t applied ScriptyLightbox to something on the page,
then you won’t have the necessary scripts in your page. Try this as a
test:

  1. Make an HTML box, double-click inside it, and make a text link to
    your new page.

  2. Click on the HTML box, and apply the ScriptyLightbox Action to that
    box.

Publish, and test in a browser.
