links on panes w/ carousel action

This question may have already been addressed in previous postings… (I did do a quick search, but couldn’t find anything)
Is it possible to make each pane in a carousel have a link to a new window? I just uploaded the action here, www.frontrangeweb.com, and would like it if a visitor could click on each pane and be directed to that site.
I just had a thought that when I was building this carousel I should have applied a link to each graphic item, and have tried going back to do this, but can’t seem to figure it out.

Thanks,
Rich Gannon

Any content that you want to put in the panes of the carousel are fine. There is an issue with Flash “peeking out” of the hidden panes, but I haven’t seen that in a while. Other than that, each pane is a little “page”, on which you can put anything you like.

If you are having trouble accessing the individual panes once you have grouped them, try switching the Site pane to the Page view. (Click on the header above the Site pane, and it will switch over to Page.) This shows you a hierarchical list of the page contents. The lower down you go in this list, the closer to the top (unintuitively) you get in the page layout stack.

Hope this helps,

Walter,
Thanks! As a testament to just how little I know about FW, I just realized (thanks to you) that I can select items in the site panel and apply actions to them there. I was always under the impression that I had to select the actual item on the page view…wow just selecting the item in the site panel is EASY! Thanks again. I’m not sure if you get paid for developing these actions and then answering all of these questions…If not you should.

Walt has been an amazing help to all of us. How he has time to help with Freeway and get his job done is a mystery to me.
