The behavior uses a script file named iZoom.js. It appears to be an ‘in-house’ script by the author. The beginning of this file notes the following about the javascript, its author and source (Contact with the author would be appropriate before thinking about using this script yourself):

Some searching for something like: ‘javascript magnifying glass’ may yield some packaged solutions with more options, tutorials and step-by-step explanations.
