I am building a site using mal’s e commerce.
does anyone have a mal’s site that I can show my client a completed store so he can see what the checkout looks like etc?
I really do appreciate it.

It’s a premium Mal account (approx £13.50 per quarter), so you have the ability to use your own html templates for the cart.
I used Tim Plumb’s ‘Mal’s E-Commerce Suite’ which has some neat actions for multiple price/custom options etc.

Im confused, I thought with the free account you can design all in FW with the actions etc.
Is it the only the shopping bag / checkout that is editable in the paid version?

You can indeed change the look of the cart with the free account: Header graphic, font, colours etc. using the Freeway actions.
With the paid Mal account you can fine tune the cart even further with templates.
