I have 2 pieces of the same jewelry.
one is in yellow gold at one price
and
one is in pink gold at another.
even though they are the same item per say - do i have to do them separately or can I do a drop down choose color which then causes the price and picture of that item for that color to come up?
Thank you very much.
also if anyone knows of a good mal’s tutorial please point it out.
I have the same problem, and need the same solution as yourself. I have recently posted for help at http://www.freewaytalk.net/thread/view/95789 buy no joy yet. I will let you know if I find anything out.
I did find a form at http://www.malsforms.com/product-option-qty.html which seems to do what’s needed. If you right click on the page, goto view menu of safari and click view source, you can copy the form syntax into a html markup box on your freeway page. This works fine for me until I try to apply it to my mals cart but fouls up with link verification. I’m sure there is a way around it, I just don’t know what it is! If you have not turned link verification on at the mals cart admin page, I suspect the form would work fine and dandy. Or if you have a better technical understanding of this stuff than I do (not difficult) you could figure it out.
I have it. I was reading the doc about all the different actions.
The multi price select looks good. But I do not see where I can add an image so that when they choose the kelly gold (instead of pink) that a picture pops up of the selected color
if there is a way to do that I would appreciate any thoughts.

Have you looked at Tim’s Mals Ecommerce Suite which includes Mal’s Multiprice Select - which (I haven’t used myself) should do what you require.
