Is there a way of completely locking the items on the master page. I know I can ‘lock’ them so they don’t move, but sometime i accidently edit a piece of text. and have to reapply.

My biggest problem with master pages, is that you need to go to your actual pages to preview. Then you go back to work on the pages and realize you’ve been working on the actual page and not the master. Then, you have to reapply, rename the page and rename the file.
Anyway to avoid this?
(Sorry to go a little OT and derail you question, but I thought it might be related.)
