me not understand how to solve IE mysteries

Hi, it’s me again.

New year, new struggle with the allmighty (still some 68% present) IE. The differences between versions 6, 7 and beta 8 give me headaches. It takes soooo much time.

Please have a look at http://www.monumentmaker.nl/tempindex.php/mm/

I did ask questions about this before, I know. Could someone be so kind to look at this, and maybe explain what I can adjust in the settings of the nested DIV’s? I really want to get a grip on this.

humble-mode thanks…/humble-mode

OK, solved.

I’m weak, I’m a coward. In stead of taking the bull by the horns, I decided to take the easy road (out)

Someone wrote a plug-in for EE that detects the browser. With a simple conditional I can pull different HTML to my page. IE visitors shall see a rigid boring oldfashioned tablestructure that pins my content down. All the others get my elegant (ahum) CSS layout. (BTW this does not release me from doing my homework, trying to understand little more about CSS…

Link to the plug-in be found here Forums | ExpressionEngine
