Menu Bar and floating menu

Hi All,
Just been doing a bit on my marathon website (i.e. it’s taken a long time to do!) and had the idea of having the menu bar, which is at the side if the page, always in view when you scroll the page.

Thought I had it licked by adding the Layer Position Action to the table that holds the navigation on the page. Sure enough it stays in position at the top of the page, but the sub menus always appear at the same position relative to where they were first moused over. So if you scrolled the page a bit and accessed the submenu but did not click, then scrolled the page some more, and then moused over the menu again the submenus now appear relative to the scrolled page and not where the menu is, i.e. they appear where the menu was before you scrolled page.

I’ve been racking my brain to try to find a solution to this, but as yet I haven’t found a way to do it, or if it is possible.

Here’s a link to a page on the site.

Any thoughts would be most helpful.

If I can’t get it to do what I want I’ll go back to the original way, and not have the menu floating (easy with freeway, just remove the Layer Position Action from the Master Page and republish. Easy Peasy!!)

Thanks

Steve.
