How can I tie in a minimal pixel font as font, not as gif?

According to the descriptive text on that site the fonts are True Type fonts. Therefore you should be able to install them in your Mac like any other font.

But as far as making Web fonts out of them, you’d have to first ask
the publisher if you have those rights, and then you’d need to use one
of the Web font generator toolkits to encode it and embed it in your
page.
