mobile phone viewing problem

I have produced the above site with responsive breaks for all the standard tabs freeway show (320, 480 etc) all of which look fine when I preview and also if I view on a mac and reduce the window accordingly.
However, viewing on an actual smart phone the footer section is all over the place???

… all of which look fine when I preview

Really? It’s a mess in every browser, so no wonder if it screws up on a smart-phone:

I can’t help you here in detail, but two things are simply forbidden if it comes to “responsiveness”:

Fixed widths* and absolute positioning* as long as they cause “side-scroll”.

Cheers

Thomas

(*) Sidenote:

Both methods are fine as long as you know what you’re doing.

Thomas
I can see that the logo in the footer is set to absolute but if I change it to ‘fixed in window’ it jumps to the top left of the page?

Did you build this from scratch?

If - you should be used to the term of placing items relative - or inflow if you want. This method - flexible widths given ensures, to avoid overflow → side-scrolling → mess-up of partials.

It’s a simple matter of fact, that you have to re-structure your footer, thinking about a three col design such as the content above.
