moo: Effect on load question

Hello everyone!

How can I make a CSS menu with the moo effect on load to make a sliding door menu that opens and closes when you hover or click with the mouse?

Not a rise, but moving from left to right

thanks in advance,
Marcus

To be more specific I think what I need is the mootolls accordion but instead of make it move up and down, to make it move left-right. Is that possible with mootolls or I should go with something else?

thanks
Marcus

I know Dan Jasker has a screencast about Jquery…Would Jquery be the way for having these sliding tabs? Any ideas?

Thank You!

You can do this with ScriptyAccordion, but you cannot have any Moo-
based effects on the same page. Horizontal accordions are more limited
in their design possibilities than vertical ones, but mostly that’s to
do with the types of content you can use as your headers (think
images) than anything else.

Thank You Walter!

I knew you had the ScriptyLightbox and I’ve downloaded it but didn’t know about this one…nice

I got it now and read the New Horizontal Accordion Feature and downloaded the example also. I’ll be working on this soon.

Thanks again, Walter!

Hello David! Oh Yes! I love this effect and think I could use it. How did you do it? With the scriptyaccordion?

Thank you!
Marcus

No - no actions I am afraid.

There is a bit of code markup and an external stylesheet involved so you will require some understanding of CSS.

I will try and put together a ‘How To’ for you if the code bit doesn’t put you off!

Hi David,

Thank you! I’d really appreciated. I am working on a website to a client that repairs and installs sliding doors and these ideas are coming to my mind…
