I am experiencing a problem with the Moo Slimbox action. It’s working fine, doing what it should do, but not what I want it to do. If you go to the website link below you will see what I mean.
The layout for my website is of landscape orientation so it scrolls left to right consisting of photographic images. I have applied the MOO Slimbox action to every image and it works fine, the problem that i have is if I have clicked on an image on the far right of the page or indeed off the main page, the MOO Action displays the pop up image on the far left of the screen and not where I have clicked.
Have a look at the site to see what i mean, scroll right to the end of the page and click an image, then scroll all the way back to the left where you can see the Slimbox effect:

Hi,
these are only my thoughts about the site and I don’t mean to be over critical. this is just an observation as a new viewer
I personally don’t like having to scroll sideways as I feel it takes you away from the heart of the site, If the page were static and the images could scroll left to right along the page in a window div I think that would be better, plus then the mootools windows would open right in front of you.
the other problem is that at home my monitor is only 17" and the bigger popup images are way too big for the screen, when you scroll down to view them and then close the window you are left high and dry down the page with nothing showing. perhaps if they were all the same size it would work better.
I think Slimbox is designed to open the popup in the middle of the browser window - the problem with your page being this wide is that the middle of the window is calulated as half the width of the window then referenced from the LH edge of the window.
So when you open an image from the RHS of the page it then appears half the width of the browser window from the left hand of the page.
This issue is completely within the Slimbox Library used. I will have to see if the topic has emerged within that script’s message boards and if any type of solution has emerged.
I’m not entirely sure if browsers even report horizontal scroll the same as they do vertical, that the script could hook into and display the popup within the browser window.
