Hi all. I would like to create the following action using Freeway Express 5.5: I have a photo that when moused over, changes to another photo. When the mouse is moved away, it changes back to the original photo. Is this possible?

Hi Marcos,
Place your first photo onto the Freeway page, then with the photo selected go to Item > Actions > Rollover.
Then open your Actions pallet and with your first photo selected click the ‘Parameters’ tab in the Action. The first option in the list is ‘MouseOver’, click the menu and choose ‘Select…’ then locate your second photo.
That’s it. Preview the page and see your rollover in action.
(to do it this way, both photos should to be the same size).

Brilliant! So easy, never occurred, thought I needed a fancy program 
Another question: I’ve applied a border and a drop shadow to the “top” photo. When I mouse over to the “bottom” photo, of course, it’s missing the border and drop shadow. Is there anything I can do to have the bottom photo bordered and drop shadowed, too?

Hi, yes, Freeway Actions do a lot of the hard work to make it easy.
To use the border and shadow features, you’ll need to place both your images on the page and give them the border and shadow that you want.
Now check out http://www.softpress.com/support/tutorials/ and see Episode 16 for a great video by Paul Dunning on how to do it.
Tip: you should select each of your photos on the page and then go to the inspector and click the Item Output Settings icon (the third from the left) and choose Type: JPEG. This will help you avoid problems with the transparency of the shadows.
