Hi,

does anybody know, how to integrate a “video-lightbox” into a site? since I’m working with videos a lot, it would be the ideal solution for me as to show images and movies in a lightbox on top of my site. is there maybe an action available or can anybody tell me (in simple words) how to get this feature to my site?

Weaver has an Action that does an instance of Slimbox on the page – I believe that one does video pretty well.

For clarification:

The Slimbox Action is strictly for images.

However, it may (read: something I have not personally tried) be possible to replicate a popup box that could contain any media with the Spawn New Moodalbox action that is included in the suite.

There is now a demo of the Suite (of which Spawn New Moodalbox is a part) available online at the previously mentioned URL if anyone is interested/willing to give it a try.

I’ve been playing with the Spawn New Moodalbox without any luck. I can get it to display a page with images or even an embeded YouTube video. When I have it reference a page with only a QT video, I get a blank lightbox window with horizontal and vertical scroll bars.

I willing keep trying some things and let everyone know if I figure it out.

Maybe someone can use a ‘box’ that allows video and create an action.
