Sorry to trouble you, but I just need to ask for a little help.

My Freeway built website " http://www.jamiejonesphoto.co.uk " which has been designed and built by myself, has been chosen by my web-hosting company to be in their ‘Top 5 hosted websites of the month competition’.

If all goes well I could end up in the end of year top site and all votes count.

Last years winner had a total of over 430 votes.

Hi Jamie

I was just having a look through your site prior to voting and when Features 2 gallery was loading it crashed Safari on me. (3.2.1) I tried it again with the same result.

Just thought you should know.

Thanks for that, I have just tried it out on my Safari and it is fine. Also tried it out with firefox and camino as well. but all seem to be well.

Have another go. Did it work ok when you reloaded Safari?

I’ve added my vote. Can’t but support a fellow Brummie - even if I do
live just outside the boundary, nowadays. And it’s not a bad site,
either: definitely the most friendly to use out of the 5.

It crashed Safari several times on more than 1 of the galleries.

I have since gone back through them all and they were OK.

Maybe it is just me!

Hmmm It has never done that with me, but for some reason it did happen with a friend who was using safari who was checking it over.

Mind you I have recently had problems with safari crashing on other sites… Maybe safari needs upgrading…

Well Safari 4 is in Beta - but it is not a problem that I have experienced on other sites!

I will upgrade to S4 soon - just not quite ready yet to commit.

Thanks for the votes so far, I am ahead on the monthly competition, but these votes go forward to the end of year selection and last year the winner got 430 votes. so I have a long way to go.

You can now put me on the list of voters Jamie.

The other sites all had something that just … well … put me off. Awkward navigation, too much Flash, or the eye just didn’t know where to focus next, and ended up jumping about and confused. Not with your site.

PS your photos are staggeringly professional by the way, not only from a technical viewpoint but from a ‘soul/emotional’ aspect as well.
