my master page stretches in blogger

go to www.robertjillson.com and click the blog link on the left.

I followed all the instructions on the Freeway website for getting my master page template into Blogger so it would look like part of my site. My problem is that I have a menu running down the left of my page. As I add blog postings the menu is stretching. I believe it is keeping the bottom of my left side text tied to the bottom of the page (first blog entry and my logo at the top of the page and then space everything else.

I could understand this if I had one big block of text. However, Each line of text is a separate html text block so I could align and space everything just right.

If anyone knows how to stop the stretching, that would be great. Thanks! rj

I have come up with a work around solution. It seems that when the main blog section is inserted. Anything that it is next to will stretch as that blog section stretches due to more content. So, I am inserting this section between my menu items and my contact info. It pushes my contact info to the bottom but that is fine since it is only on the block. Should post the final solution soon.

I did notice that your contact information was outside of the main table there which caused it to now be pushed down. Perhaps if you dropped your contact info above your menu items and dropped the graphic above your blog and re-sized it in the sidebar. That might open up some flexibility in your layout considering everyone obviously sees the header most if you’re hoping people contact you.
