the header banner doesn’t look quite right being just half the length of the top of the page. It should stretch the whole
length above the content.
On some pages the text is a bit too broken up by the images. Perhaps, just try having the images at one side and text at the other. Or use the images to divide between the subtopics of the page rather that divide the middle of the subtopics themselves.
I’m not too sure about the neon bars you have used to border the text. Perhaps try giving the text and background a different background to the actual background (if that makes sense). Or use just a clean white line to divide off the text.
I do wish there was some way to drop the “entra” page because of the slow-loading 1.2 MB SWF file. I think some people might go there and think it isn’t working.
I’d also like to see better page titles. Searchability is big in Page Titles, so instead of “Entra” or “Home” perhaps your website address or:
rayoservizi.it :: "whatever this site or page is about"
That goes along with the home page as well. I’d also rethink the “slide-in” navigation at the top. Perhaps just the home page would have that and the sub pages could have it different considering you have to wait a bit till it all slides out again. Also it ways in at about 300KB which for some people might be slow.
Also a nit-picky thing is the gun-shot sound on the last link on the right side of the navigation. Scared the crap out of me
Other than those things, it validates which is good. Cool stuff.
good morning guys, even if i don’t understand you so much in some words you wrote, THANK YOU !
i’ll try to change something, following your suggestions.
about the colors of the site: these are the colors of my private investigations agency, and i can’t change them, but i’ll try to make it more armonic.
DAN J- you’re saying that titles in the pages are too syntetic?
example: instead of “corsi”, i should write “stages for bodyguards…”?
I don’t think it’s a good idea to ever underline text on your web page, because and underline implies a link, and it can be confusing. If you want to highlight or emphasize some text, if it was me, I would use another color or italicize it or maybe put it in all caps or a different font, but I would not use an underline if it wasn’t an actual link. You have a lot of underlined text on: http://www.rayoservizi.it/indagini.html
Also, I like your photos throughout the site. They are a little rough looking, kind of gangsta-ish (compliment). And because I like them and they are similar, it makes the stock photo of the hands shaking look really out of place on this page: http://www.rayoservizi.it/chisiamo.html. You might be better off without that image, or maybe you could “dirty it up” a little.
Summary (helping with the language barrier):
• no underlined text
• delete photo of shaking hands
