nanpx

I opened a 5.5 doc in 6.0. Everything seems to have converted properly except for two almost identical pages in which a similarly placed image on both pages was missing and showed up in the inspector with the L, W, R measurements and the L R dimensions all reading as “nanpx”.

The original document had the item set with a left edge position of 65%. Everything else was set in pixels.

I’ve tried to enter hard settings in order to bring the images back into the known universe but the setting changes are all rejected.

nan is a reference to “Not a Number”, which is a programming conceit that represents a number that the program cannot compute. I can’t speak to the exact problem you are having (haven’t seen it myself) but that’s what the value means. I would bundle up the original (not converted) document and send it to support(a)softpress.com for dissection.
