Newbie with questions. . . HTML & Graphic

What I mean as far as to insert or not, can I start typing in any of these boxes I have just made or bring in a graphic, or should I insert another box into one of these already made and type or bring a graphic into that one?

It can work either way.

One other thing to consider is padding and margins. Just remember that padding only affects content WITHIN an html box, while magins only affect the OUTSIDE of an html box.

Thanks for all the help, guys.

I don’t want to waste any more of your time on this, but I find it very difficult to start adding text and figuring out what box I’m in. Seems I can’t get to some to insert if they are buried too deep. If I start typing, after two lines or so (with no returns) I get an overflow icon and then can’t seem to get to the box or figure where my text it.

I’ll have to play around a bit with it I guess.

This is a very good reason to name each box in a way that informs you what you are looking at since technically all html boxes are the same.

Use the page listing on the left to find everything you’ve placed. By selecting a box from the list and hitting the Return/Enter key you will able to directly edit that box. The only time you will get the overflow indicator is if your box has a designated height. Deselect the height button and the x will go away.

I’ll have to play around a bit with it I guess.

Yep. Takes practice.
