Nudge Problem

I was beginning to work on a web site for the new quilt guild my wife
joined. I designed a basic header block and was working on a CSS menu
when I noticed the header block need a nudge to the right. I selected
the header block and hit the right arrow to nudge it. Well the two
logos jumped from the sides to the center. I had just saved the
project so I quit this current project and started up the recently
saved one and tried the nudge again, same thing. Its repeatable on my
machine MosX 10.5.7 FW 5.4 If I had not recently saved, I would be
really upset at the lost effort. Undo didn’t fix it. This is one thing
I seem to have noticed about FW. If you do something that seems
logical, but may not be exactly correct, real bad things can happen
that can be very hard to recover from. I have had problems where once
something strange happened, I couldn’t recover without starting over.

Can anyone verify the nudge causes this problem on their machine?

I hate this kind of distraction!

Any ideas on why?
How to fix it so it doesn’t do it in the future.

Thanks Paul for testing this. At least now I know It’s not my FW that
has gotten corrupted. I guess no one from softpress was willing to
jump in and say " oh, that’s the old xyz bug" I’ve rebuilt that page
from scratch and it works ok now. Have had to rebuild several times,
my menus have been giving me troubles.

As I said in my earlier post, it seems to me that FW can be buggy if
you edit pages very much. For example, my CSS menu on my master page.
I deleted/edited all the menu items in the list and changed the names
to create a new menu. Yet, when I create a “New Page” using this
edited master, when it first shows up, the old deleted menu is what is
displayed. When I “preview” it, that gets it back to showing the new
menu. Strange.

Thanks Again
