odd behaviour

Hi,

Started using v5 in earnest but starting to find a few possible bugs. Most I’m sure will be sorted by soft in due course.

However, an old site I’ve just moved from 4 - v5 is causing the most concern. I have a div thats 76% but occasionally when text or images are added this widens, no problem with v4 I just resize but I’m finding that when I do this in v5 (77% - 76%) the div collapses eliminating most but not all of the text and images. Anyone any thoughts on why this might happen ? I did anticipate a few tweaks to the site when moving but this one I cannot resolve.

Some concerns with v5 based on a new site and in general are: frequent crashes, especially when working with the CSS menu action; saving is slow; inserting both html and graphic items can on occasion make the program hang; text can be slow to appear when typing and occasionally css menu action text styles change inexplicably to something else.

Despite above v5 I still think Freeway is a pleasure to use.

Hi,

Well they say its good to talk - even if to oneself. I’ve figured out the div width problem.
I had some 1px horizontal html text spacers. In the conversion from v4 - v5 these acquired a non flexible width status, if that makes sense. So I couldn’t contract down the percentage. This also applied to other inline html divs.

Still odd behaviour 2 to resolve but that can wait for another day.

Hi,

If you haven’t already, could you get in contact with our support
department? Hopefully they will be able to get to the bottom of the
problems you’re having and we’ll be able to get them fixed as soon as
possible if they’re bugs.

Thanks

Hi,

If the file is smaller than 10MB, you can send it directly to
support@. If it’s larger than 10MB, you can send it to us using
something like http://www.megaupload.com

Thanks
