Can anyone remember the 3D app that came bundled with Illustrator?
It must have been about 10 years ago, or even longer. It was before the 3D module had been built into Illustrator.

Although CADTools was good, the one I’m thinking of and used wasn’t a plug-in, it was a standalone app.

It’s an old app and won’t work on any new system… I just wanted to know what it was - just out of curiosity - we were having a discussion in the office…

Bingo!
That’s the one - thanks, yes it was pretty good! And to be honest Adobe hasn’t really progressed that far with either AI or PS and the 3D tools.

It was the best nothing come near it for years
I love it found it on an old G3 last year it was amazing
really should of kept it just for that

Actually they sort of did. The same functionality is built into newer version of Illustrator without having to run a separate program.
