Open a Link in a New Window or...

Hello all,

I have several links on my website that I want to open into a new window. I have tried to use the Action as mentioned elsewhere, but it never works for me. If I highlight the text that I want the link to be in – I don’t get anything in the Action window to fill out. If I just start with a blank line and select the Action, I get the form in the Action window, buyt on the page itself I get a little box with a ‘Your Text’ label and I am unable to do anything with it.

So, am I missing something or is there a better way/action to do it? Also, could I open it in the same window with a smaller toolbar for our site remaining across the top, so that they could always return back to our site?

Your page DTD must be ‘transitional’ to be able to open a link in a new window. Once that is set, select your link text in Freeway and open the links window (cmnd-k) and the target setting will be available to you. No action is necessary.
