Hello, I’ve now totally rebuilt the Rubys Restaurant website because of not being able to find out why everything below the header wouldn’t show on IE on the pc. It’s now back to basics and table based for safety and seems to preview okay in everything I’ve tried but I have a problem with a couple of pages.
On the ‘Views’ page, the pictures open up in a new window fine, but on the ‘Menus’ and ‘Find Us’ pages, the text links don’t want to play. In the links dialogue box the option for target_blank id greyed out, so I’ve tried adding it manually through the extended box, but still no luck. If anyone has any ideas it would be appreciated as I’m so far behind on this job now the client is starting to pull what little hair he has out (along with me).
You have set your page to XHTML Strict or HTML Strict, and the Strict
doctypes don’t permit the “target” attribute to be used. There’s a
JavaScript work-around you could use, but really, you could just use
a Transitional doctype and be done with it.

That was it Walter, thanks very much…how does your brain soak up
so much. I dread to think how much has leaked from my brain over the
years.
