[OT] Getting my hands dirty

One of my associates has built a site for one of my clients (he doesn’t use Freeway, pah!).

I need to change one word (and maybe a few more later).

My associate suggests copying his .php file via Transmit into a text editing program, changing the text and copying it back again.

Text Edit doesn’t seem to work. Do I need to invest in BB Edit or is there some open source software for Mac that I can download?

Dear Jackie

I use TextWrangler since his first aperiance.
You have to go to Menu File->Open from FTP/SFTP Server… and then enter
the login datas and then you can choose the file to be edited.

From the same place, you can download TextWrangler. It’s free, and a
cut-down version of BB Edit.
