Padding or Buffer Around HTML Box

Hi, Gang –

I’ve created an HTML box inside of a body of text in an article on my site. In other words, I’ve got a box that’s separate from the text of the article and the box has some unrelated copy in it.

The problem is, the text in the article bumps right up next to the HTML box. It looks kind of funny and inelegant when it does that.

How do I fix that? I’ve tried adding “Padding” around the HTML box, but that only moves it farther from the right hand margin of the page. It doesn’t seem to add any buffer space between the text of the article and the box.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Jamie

Margins is what you want. Padding increases distant from the border in. Margins increase distance from the border out.
