page shift within site

I created a site using the same master page for all the internal pages, and there are no items that extend beyond the borders of the page. The pages are aligned center. The problem is that in preview and when it is uploaded, there is a right-left shift in page display. The site is www.textesol.org/region3 and the following pages are centered farther left than the others: home, board members, advocacy, links. I cannot figure out why. It’s a small thing, but (to me) annoying.
Thanks for any help you can provide,

This is because you have made those pages taller than the others. The
browser has to take the width of the vertical scrollbar out of the
page size, shifting your centered page left by a distance equal to
half its width. There’s nothing you can do about this, really, and
it’s probably the sort of thing that only you will notice. So don’t
worry!

Nancy,

I get around this by moving all the elements on a page 7 px (might be 8) left or right depending whether you are adjusting for the short or long pages.

I would not do this… This will make your pages jump 7 or 8px to the left on a PC. IE6 does not move the pages when a scroll-bar appears. Just leave it as-is.

If you’re really bothered about this, just make all the pages a similar depth. Add a blank gif at the bottom of the page to force a scroll bar on all pages.

Actually, that’s what I did – added a 2px line across the bottom of each page. It works. Thanks to all of you for troubleshooting this for me.
