Password Protect Other Than Action

Is there a simple way, besides the Freeway Action, to password protect a page?

I basically need a page that people can log on and see company related information. It’s not necessarily sensitive material, but it’s not needed to be public information.

Thanks…

The easiest way to do this is server side

If your hosting has Cpanel or similar then you generally get the option under Security for Password Protected Directories

Simple operation to make a folder a PPD and upload/put the webpage in there.

You can create the subfolder in FW and then Password Protect it once it is on the server.

This can also be done manually with an .htaccess file on a unix type server. Have a look at http://www.htaccess-guide.com/ for some tips on doing it this way.

But as I say most hosting providers provide this option if they are any good.
