The Pastie service was attacked twice last week (Distributed Denial of Service or DDOS), and their hosting provider shut them down without notice. The upshot is that any post on the Web forum for the FreewayTalk mailing lists that referenced Pastie will not work, and there’s nothing we can do about that. Gists are still working, naturally. The owner of Pastie is scrambling to find another host, and the service should be back on the air soon, but if you see an error instead of some nicely-formatted code, that’s why.
Oh, and I’ve disabled the filter so at least you’ll see the Pastie URL for now rather than a JavaScript error. As soon as it’s back on the air, I’ll put the filter back in place so you will see the nicely-formatted source code inline.
