PayPal Buttons

Hi, I have PayPal buttons in a site I did in iWeb. Paypal generated the code and I pasted it in an “html Snippet” and placed it on the page. Am I correct in assuming I can do the same thing with FW Express just using a graphic box?

just using a graphic box?

The short answer is no, because a graphic box is generated as a
bitmap graphic, not a chunk of code.

HOWEVER, you can insert a Markup Item object instead, using the
Insert menu. Paste the Paypal code in there and you’re done.

ALTERNATIVELY, it is possible to make a graphic get wrapped up with
the necessary Paypal code, giving you the ability to make your own
graphic button and also have it operate as desired. This would take a
little bit of dissection of the code, which I don’t have in front of
me so I couldn’t say off-hand exactly how.

Someone else may be able to chip in with a more precise recipe or
even another alternative…

Thanks Keith!

So Markup item is where you could put html code that does something (bear with me, I’m tech challenged). A graphic box is a photo and a text box is text.

I want to sell ringtones on a website I have created in iWeb but iWeb defaults to QuickTime if I insert (using an html snippet) an html FLASH snippet.

What I REALLY need to do is go remake the entire site with Freeway Express but time is really crunched at the moment.

Anyway, I thought I would put a link to an external page and create a separate website PAGE to sell the ringtones, providing I can enter an html FLASH code (pre-made by the ringtone company) into a Freeway Express page.

Is there hope???

With HUGE thanks,
Lee
