Pdf issue

Hi all

I am uploading a newsletter to a website im working on via the ‘Graphic link to PDF action’ and there is one newsletter that refuses to upload. Nothing pops up, it just dosn’t upload.

Ive compressed the size, changed the name etc.

All the other newsletters are working perfectly fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Josh

When you say you’ve changed the name of the PDF, have you taken
everything besides alphabetical characters, hyphens, and underscores
out of the filename? (No spaces, no punctuation of any kind; excepting
the dot before the file-type extension.)

Do you have an FTP application like Transmit or Fetch? Can you try
uploading this exact file to your Web server, into the Resources
folder that Freeway created there? If you do that, does your FTP app
tell you that you are about to overwrite an existing file? FTP
applications can often tell you more accurate or elaborate error
messages than Freeway. Also, does Freeway throw an error when it fails
to upload the file? Or does it just gloss over the fact that it’s not
there, or believe that it is there?

One last thing to try is to rename the page that the PDF is linked
from. Perhaps your browser has cached a previous version of the page,
and so you’re getting the HTML that tells the browser that the file is
here when in fact it’s over there. If that works, then change the
filename of the page back to the previous after your test proves that
the upload actually worked. (If that works, then you are the only one
who saw the problem on the live site.)
